cerco di stare con tutti, ma a volte non basta ed inevitabilmente alcuni rapporti di falsa-amicizia si raffreddano.

Myth #1 – Introverts don’t like to talk.
This is not true. Introverts just don’t talk unless they have something to say. They hate small talk. Get an introvert talking about something they are interested in, and they won’t shut up for days.Myth #2 – Introverts are shy.
Shyness has nothing to do with being an Introvert. Introverts are not necessarily afraid of people. What they need is a reason to interact. They don’t interact for the sake of interacting. Introverts often don’t see a reason for beating around the bush with social pleasantries. They want everyone to just be real and honest. On the contrary, Introverts intensely value the few friends they have. They can count their close friends on one hand. A proposito de Il Favoloso Mondo di Amélie.
Ho notato che ultimamente questo film sembra essere diventato una moda, soprattutto fra le teenager. La cosa non può non urtarmi, considerando che fino a qualche anno fa poche persone conoscevano questo film e ancora meno lo giudicavano positivamente. Ricordo ancora la prima volta che l’ho visto: avevo 13 anni e ogni week-end prendevo a noleggio un paio di film dal Blockbuster davanti a casa mia (avevo la tessera). Un giorno la cassiera mi disse che avevo superato tot film noleggiati e che avevo diritto ad un dvd in regalo, a scelta tra cinque film. Non ricordo quali fossero, ma tre li avevo già visti, uno non mi interessava, e l’altro era Amélie. Lo presi e, una volta guardatolo a casa, me ne innamorai perdutamente. Mi innamorati innanzitutto delle musiche (Yann è ancora oggi uno dei miei musicisti preferiti, e non mi stanco mai di ascoltarlo), poi dell’ambientazione, ed infine della storia. Ritengo questo film la causa principale del mio amore ossessivo per Parigi, per la Francia ed il Francese, e tutt’oggi non posso fare a meno di rispecchiarmi al 99% in Amélie: timida, solitaria, praticamente senza amici, sognatrice, innamoratasi perdutamente di uno sconosciuto cui per mesi non sono riuscita a rivolgere la parola, ma che da un anno e mezzo è diventato il mio Nino. E mi dà fastidio vedere tutti questi blog di ragazzine dove si legge che Amélie è un film magnifico e che si rispecchiano così tanto nel personaggio. Mi urta, perché è un film che sento profondamente mio, e non sopporto che sia diventato un’icona indie, alternativa, quasi radical chic.
